If names like Herbie, Jaco, Jamiroquai, Sinatra, Jazz Pistols gets you going and if improvisation is what ur after, please come and have fun with us! We are currently a trio looking to expand our sound. Don't worry if you're not too much of a pro, we are seasoned museos but all kind of new to this jazz fusion world.
The basic requirements
1) commitment to weekly weekday jam lasting about 1.5 hours at a studio in the city.
2) you should be able to read basic chord charts and know what a F#dim+9 chord is...(just kidding!)
3) good ears for improvisation, dynamics, feel etc
4) maturity as a musician and a person meaning, do ur homework, come on time for jams, be nice etc
If it matters, we are all working adults, 3 easygoing guys from 3 different countries. So pop a bottle of wine, chill out think deeply if you really want in and then you can call or text me at 98156992 to find out more.
