We have been writing materials and performing for the past 5 years and recently, we have firmed up a new repertoire of originals (which we are looking to record). So far, we have been working with sessionists on ad-hoc performance basis, but would like to now move on to a more permanent arrangement. We are looking for a percussionist who is proficient in programming and executing digital loops which can be used for live performances, and to embellish our songs with effects/sounds (bonus if you're able to play acoustic drums as well). Our preference for a "digital" percussionist is due to mobility, as we're looking to perform overseas in addition to local gigs.
Our genre is best described as experimental fusion. If you can appreciate the following acts - Efterklang, Radiohead, Massive Attack, Mansun, Björk, Portishead, Lana Del Rey, Warpaint, jazz music in general - there's a good chance we have a match.
