Looking for bassist for songwriting/gig (PUNK/ALTERNATE)
Introduction
Forming an active english band for song writing and performance. Currently we have a drummer, and me (guitarist + vox). We are both 20yr old males. We are looking for COMMITED and PERMANENT members.
Goal
Our goal is to do both gigs and competitions regularly playing our originals sometime soon. We have completed a few simple songs. What's left is an empty base part which we'll require you to compose it yourself. "Nice" is very subjective, so all we require is that it fits.
Skill level
We do not focus on technical skills, besides I must admit I can hardly play my instrument well at all lol. Our skills are just average, but what we have is the love and eagerness to play our music to other people!
Therefore, our focus is on simple and catchy songwriting. No crazy intense instrumental solos. Just creativity!
Area
Our jamming studio is at Tampines Blk 201D (near Ngee Ann Secondary School)
Genre
Well.. I would say our song writing will tend to be somewhat heavy but melodious at the same time. It varies around maybe punk and alternate rock. However, diversity is what we're looking for so any genre is ok! Our influences are Blink 182, Fightstar, Seether, AAR, Screeching Weasel, Rooster, Rancid, Green Day, many many more. So somewhat songs like that

Just hope that the incident will not occur again as it wasted a few days that could have been spent finding another bassist.
