I am a local filmmaker who's looking for bands who want a music video to promote themselves(their ep, album etc). I am not a fresh grad but still a keen student of the cinema, I have been freelancing for the past 7 years in the industry but am looking for new ideas and visual concepts to be injected into my work away from the corporate and commercial end of things.
I'm open to all genres, myself having a music library to diverse to classify(Tragedy to Belphegor to M83 to Deadmau5 to Manchester Orchestra to Explosions in the Sky). I am looking for solid local bands to put out a video for. On my end, I am charging close to nothing for my services which includes shooting, directing and editting the video but there are other costs at hand that will come to play such as equipment and props and talents etc. Just so that you guys will be aware.
This is not some quick money making scam, I'll put out all my details for you.

I do have some basic requirements that I will need to work with. I do need band members who know that the filmmaking process is not easy work and are game for a challenge both physically and artistically. I do need a proper recording of your work and I will need lyrics of the track.
I will only be selecting one video to be made(fingers crossed by year end) and I believe that myself and the band will need the time to sit down and throw ideas at each other for quite a bit before embarking on anything spectacular. I'm not interested in making some scrappy video your friend from film school could have done, I am entirely invested in making this into some epic monster that you will always to proud to have been on.
