Looking for a new electro-classical

i'm currently shopping around for a new electro-classical. presently i'm trying to narrow down the brands that i should bother considering.

originally i considered Ibanez, but as i think about it, Ibanez doesn't have that much of a 'reputation' for classicals. I absolutely love Ibanez electrics and think they're the best, but classicals just doesn't seem like their trump card.

so i've also considered Yamaha, but if its possible i'd like to go for a brand thats less 'cliché', in the sense that most budget guitarists who can't afford high end hand crafted guitars just go for Yamaha.

i've also considered Takamine, but since i haven't had any personal experience with that brand, nor know anyone who does, i'm not sure if its the right direction to go.


i'm hoping you guys can give me some suggestions on a good brand for an electro-classical guitar thats affordable and mid-ranged.
