Just wondering how local bands put their cds at HMV store?

Easiest way? Sign a distro deal with Universal.

lol depends on what act you are i suppose. so far the only local metal act that i've seen put in HMV is bhelliom.

other that that are other more mainstream pop/rock acts.

yup, just got both albums yesterday (meza virs and bhelliom). sad to say that the bhelliom cd that i got was VERY scratched with LOTS of fingerprints on it, causing some tracks to be unable to be played.

edit: just got back from HMV today, the kind staff managed to change to a brand new copy for me.
