Lisa Ono! Was chattin with Guitarman yesterday and we talk about Lisa Ono.. DAMN i love her voice.. makes me.. so...sleepy. Yeah.. And her classical guitar stuffs are great too. She looks like "look into my eyes i'm goanna eat you up" in her eyes. woohoo. jazz~

my fav song is Omoi Aturete.

yah ... Lisa ono use Yoko ono when she gets a backache after an excellent performance in a bossa concert ....

When i first heard her voice .... i thought it was an argentinian singing .... i was impressed that she could feel and sing Bossa in it's native language. Supreb musicianship ... who says women can't play guitar? :)

she was born in brazil and grew up there of course she can speak portugese well  and argentinians speak spanish, not portugese. :)

Do you think any chance I can acquire her autograph on her CD album tonight? is there such an arrangement from the event organiser?

I haven't yet own any album of hers, but sure buy at least 1 or 2 today, so anyone here seen/heard her albums being sold somewhere? Perhaps the HMV at the Citi Link?

you mean she's back here again?

attended her concert some time ago at expo.

Lisa Ono live best should be in a small intimate setting. not rows and rows and rows of seats.

she's good but 1.5 hours of bossa nova/samba.... *yawns*

I read somewhere says it'll be 3 hours (8-11pm) oops, I am afraid there'll be no bus from Bugis to JB at 11.xxpm, I need to return to JB tonight.

Edder, you expect her to play electric guitar "purple Haze" is it? to stop you from yawning? hahaha..Singapore is Hazy enough brother! Yes,woman can play guitar equally well as guy,but can she win Jimi Hendrix in a competition of originality solos? i doubt so... 8)

no lah... i expect her to sit down and sing for us.

thats all.

but for her kind of music. I'd prefer an intimate setting. a room of a 100 probably. small club.

i love her music. A LOT.

just that the experience from her previous concert had me yawning a few times.

i heard bro aging youth bro fell asleep!!!

Just came back from the concert, an unforgetable night. it feels a little funny when she sing the Teresa Teng's song in Mandarin, especially when she talk. Brave to try. :D

My next preferred concert is Emi Fujita's, eh, is she coming anytime soon?
