Hey there,

I just got myself a pod farm, UX1 to be exact jus to try around distortions and stuff but not for recording as i just took up guitar.

I have a few questions.
Im using a macbook with Snow leapord os. I din know that pod farm havent develop the driver for this os. does anyone have a clue on when will the driver be out?

So fine, i installed it on my windows. MAIN QUESTION IS: how can i generate the tone from my guitar straight to my computer amp system without using any guitar amp. I called in city music(the place where i purchased it) and they were busy and not very helpful, so i hope you guys can help me out here.

Thanks alot.

I have the UX2 and it worked fine with my mac. Firstly u have to connect you UX1 to your pc, and start the pod farm software. Then u plug in ur guitar into the guitar port and check whether there's signal coming in. It doesn't nid any amplifier because your PC is your amplifier as well as your effects pedal.

I also just bought the UX1. It is great and all you need is just to plug your guitar at it. Don't forget to connect your speaker cable also. The line 6 will be detected as a sound card though. I am personally bought it for effect, as I very often going out from sg. It is great and portable. I personally prefer a software called Native Instrument Guitar Rig. It provide a lot more effects compared to the POD Farm. That what I got. Hope can help you...
