This song is about finding 'the one'. As cliche as it sounds the search for that one person who you'll spend the rest of your life with is hard with many setbacks. Evidently you have to have faith that he or she will pop up, hence 'Look to the sky maybe i'll find your name in lights'. Hope you'll enjoy the song
My Attempt At Sorry:
This song is about finding yourself lost and unsure of the who your are and what type of person you are because you gave all of your time and energy to someone or something. Now that person or thing is no longer around all that's left is the shell of what you used to be. Hope you enjoy the song
Letters To Mary:
This is about falling for one of your closest friends. After he/she finds out it just go downhill and you're left alone grappling with the pain of getting rejected and losing a friend. Hope you'll enjoy it if you can relate
Trying To Breathe Underwater:
The lyrics on this track is one of the deepest on the EP. The song itself handles topics such as depression neglect and finding yourself. In a time where information is so abundant its easy to have option paralysis and get blinded from the bigger picture. Because going through life with the lens of right now is like trying to breathe underwater.
