Les paul gibson replica: Made in china

I wanna ask did anyone tried the duplicate of les paul by CRAFTSMAN made in china, sell by CITYMUSIC? i wanna noe how good it is. Looks quite good. sound almost 80% like GIBSON. i need some feedback pls

Sorry I have not tried yet but I have a better suggestion for you.

Why don't you go to Citymusic and try the guitar yourself. I think most of the guys there are friendly and are more than willing to let you try their products.

If you think it sounds almost 80% like Gibson, then, why're you asking us? Get what's good to YOUR ears, not ours.
If 80% is currently good enough, then, by all means, go ahead and get one.

china guitars are awesome and thier pickups comes from korea~
no~ the craftsman does NOT sound like a gibson...
i know cause i have a craftsman guitar and a gibson but!
the craftsman guitar is pretty awesome...
many guitars companys have factory making guitars in china for example... schecter,prs se line,ltds,etcetcetc...

Yeah, don't belittle China. There are good guitars coming from there.

As far as I've seen, Craftsman guitars are well-made and they're well-recommended around here.

To be honest i cannot tell if a guitar is a certain X% like a Gibson or what. To me unless im comparing 2 lespauls side by side the comparison would be flawed. Then again depends on the amp you're playing through/cable used/your techniques.
As long as the guitar sounds good to me, it looks good, its within my budget and more importantly i NEED it then will i purchase it. If not it would end up under utilized based on past experiences.
