Les Paul Copy Burny Tokai Greco etc.....

for Burny and Greco, probably around 1k, Tokai should be more expensive I think, the MIJ models are all above 1k, but the MIK Tokais are priced similarly to used Burny and Greco LPs. I may be wrong though, never really did follow their LP range

agile guitars from rondo. It seems pretty good, and very low price for the specs they offer. but one downside is that they WILL ship to sg, but no warranty, asked them before

MidnightBlues

the MIK burny are priced about the same as the MIK tokai. if you are getting this range, i think the tokai is better.

but if you get these MIJ... woo... i think it's a tough call. in me opinion, the burny is better.

Ae ...
but Davis never bring in newer Tokais for quite sometime liao ...

Been aiming for the MIJ Love Rock lp for damn long ...
hai ....

forget about burny, forget about tokai and forget about greco...

drumroll.....

Orville by Gibson is the way to go...

heh heh. My preference lah. :) burny, tokai and greco lovers, please don't stone me...

hey,is ther a link to this mr rondo?

dun forget about Edwards LP...but u will need to import from davis..cos there arent any stock in singapore...its MIJ...price is around 1k to 1.4k

mero, you mentioned orangeguitar.com has new pieces of lawsuits? i can't locate it. care to point me to the link?

or are you referring to the new Gibson?

BTW is there a printing error in his site? the new Gibsons are too cheap to be true... anyone bought or enquired?

orangeguitar has new LP copies from time to time I think, they don't have like a fixed retail list.

the Gibson LPs they list there aren't really that cheap, they are more or less reasonably priced, unless you're comparing to local shops, but the local prices (not referring to orangeguitar) are kinda inflated anyway

haha those that know about Agile guitars surely frequent ultimate-guitar a lot. right right? haha. i almost got an agile too but so troublesome with all the shipping stuff so i thought heck might as well get an epiphone.but its okay i love my epiphone alot. haha.

Thank you to all for the info given.
Have any of you seen Les paul copy by Stellar.
The company only sell this guitar on Ebay.
Their price range is between US$199 to US$240 with hardcase.
Shipping should be about US$100 to US$150.
I'm thinking of getting this.

I think that the burnys at yamaha is being over-priced($900). In japan the burnys are costing less than epiphones.
It would be cheaper to import one from ishibashi than getting from yamaha. Davis sells MIK Tokai at $850. MIJ Tokai is 1k+.

yes you're right. yamaha inflates the price of Burny like mad. i got my Burny LP copy - RLG45C (black custom LP lookalike) from Luther for 620 when he still had it a couple of years back. they list that for 900 at yamaha now

MrE u still have this guitar? How is the guitar, is it good?

Yup still got it... :D

i like this Burny alot, not just because it's aesthetically similar to the Gibson custom, but also because it comes with pretty decent pickups. i find the sustain commendable for a guitar of this price, and the tone is very rich, like an LP should be. Can't compare it with the real thing (Gibson) because i haven't tried one before, but i think Burny is good value for money.

it is a tad heavy, but that's what to expect when its a mahogany body + maple cap.

it will continue to be one of my favourite guitars until i get myself a gibson
