Hi fellow softies,
The Past
It's been quite some time since I last jammed. My name is Brendon, and I'm a lead guitarist. I'm just an average guitarist, to be honest. I have been playing for 6 years. I was in Rock Avenue and composed 4 originals(solos played by me). I'm typing so much just to let you know I'm not a beginner NEITHER am I the best guitarist.

The Band
Rock Avenue was formed in 2010. The genre we played was glam rock and metal. (Think Motley Crue, Skid Row, Guns N Roses). We disbanded earlier this year in March 2011.

Moving on
I'm seriously looking for a band to play in (preferably not bands that are just starting out - if you get what I mean). So if your band lacks a lead guitarist do give me a buzz or SMS me. I'm basically not a genre-cist however (pardon me for the irony) some of the genres that I'm not into : Hardcore , Anything with a core, Mando-pop, Black Metal, Death Metal. (please don't get offended, it's just my personal preference :/ )
Genres that I prefer: Dream Theater (it's such a good band I term it as a genre) , Alternative (Think Alter Bridge), Rock(Old School GNR, AC/DC, Van Halen, Whitesnake) , Blues Pop Funk and Indie (John Mayer, RHCP, Muse).
