This is not a brand NEW guitar. Its probably 20 plus years old. Its sunburst, heavily distressed and relic condition. No dings on body. Color reliced and some hairline marks due to nitro laquer drying up. Got it in a trade previously. It was not in its best condition. All original but i upgraded the tremolo block to callaham ($280- SV Guitars), Fender Custom shop pickups ($200++ - from bgw guitar). Original frets were treated with very mild fret dress at Guitar Connection, shielding/orange drop done by Sound Alchemy. Set up by Beez, still warranty for another free set-up. Its set with 10s elixer strings. Neck is straight and no faults with the guitar. Will come with the original dirty tweed case. Theres also a callaham shieldplate under the pickguard.
I took my time to 'rejuvenate' the guitar. Awesome tones, bells and sustain due to the callaham steel block, the custom shop pickups and the old wood. I did not gig this guitar after the works done to it. I decided to let this go as i dont get to use it as i play my telecaster in church. These guitar will suit someone who wants a great playing, sounding rocking guitar that is ready for action. Letting this go at 1.4k sing dollar, with the tweed case, callaham tremolo bar, all receipts of work done and the original late 80s fender brochures. It will be my loss.
