larrivee: difference between D03 and D05 ?

I would liek to know whether some of you have tried the D03 and D05?
what's the difference?

apparently they use the same woods and same p.ups on both models (for the electro acoustic models).

are the only differences in be the finish and in the mother of perl inlays??

I've owned quite a few acoustic, Blueridge, Garrison, Taylor and Larivee.

Both the D03 (confirm) and D05 (very likely assuming production line didn't change) should be made in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The higher series are now made in the States if I remember correctly.

You pretty much got the details right. It's mainly about the finish and inlay. I currently play an OM-03RE. Easily comparable to the Taylor 814CE pre NT neck I used to own in terms of playability, sound and feel.
