LAMC is bringing in Satch, just like they brought in Vai. Without his signature Carvin Legacy amps. Destroyed the show. And LAMC LIED. As Pooo will testify, we borrowed, beg, pleaded and stole to get the $152 for the VIP tickets.
We were informed that there would be only TEN VIP tickets made available for the show.
'Lo and behold, when we got to the show, there weren't ten VIP's. Oh no, there weren't twenty. There weren't thirty. There were what, 50? 60? 100? 300 VIP's? Too damned many to count.
Pooo and I were flabbergasted. Not only that, the "exclusive" Aftershow party was to be made open to public!
I know LAMC wants to make money, but they don't have to stoop THAT low, by lying right in our faces. And what's their excuse? "Ooh, I'm sorry, won't do it again."
So the point here is: If you're gonna go for the Satch show, which most of you are, then don't expect too much from LAMC.
On another note, Swee Lee may be increasing the price of Marty Friedman clinics due to high demand. And, from what I hear, if sales of Friedman clinic tickets are gonna be as high as expected, they're gonna release Bettencourt tickets at an even higher price. And if only you knew some of the things Swee Lee did. But I shan't go into such... confidential issues.
The world revolves around money, and people like us, take the fall, while people like LAMC and Swee Lee get the riches. We're nothing but gold mines to be squeezed dry.
I know, this is my 2nd rant for the night, but I just can't help it. I feel that people should know about this and do something, so that the big shots like them realise we aren't as dumb as they think we are. Cheers, y'all.
