Lakland 55-01 & 02

Hi guys,
I'm deciding between these 2 basses. Gonna try to bring in from the States.
any comments between these 2 basses?
Is it worth paying the extra for the 55-02?
How much does these cost brand new
Appreciate any inputs!

i think if you have the chance just get the 02. Worth the money and you won't regret it.

New would be around 2.2K SGD including shipping from the US ... Sinamex used to bring them in last time but they are now focusing on Musicman stuff ...

i'm eyeing the 55-02 also .. very good model to own .. pity they have a lack of colours ...

From what I read, the 55-01 sounds naturally 'aggressive' and the 55-02s with bart electronics are more 'polite'.

dude jus a note that my mint lakland skyline 5502 deluxe/cherry red/maple fingerboard is still up for grabs..

actually i mean to keep it but since i just got a fretless ... I dun mind letting it go to someone who will take good care of it
