About kozo Suganuma

A native of Osaka, Japan, Kozo Suganuma, begun playing drums at the age of eight, and by fifteen, he was a professional drummer with many studio recordings and concerts tours. Kozo has began given the name “the king of many storkes TE KA ZU OH” because of his amazing techniques. To date, he was shared stage with many artistes and celebrities performers, both in japan and around the world. Such as : Change & Aska, Junichi Inagaki, Shizuka Kudo, Larry Graham (B), Louis Johnson (B), Alphonso Johnson (B), Othello Molineaux (stl ds) Jaco Postorius Orchestra, Johnny Graham (G) Earth Wind & the Fire.

Kozo is an extremely active clinician who conducts clinic all over world. One such was the YAMAHA Big Drummer’s Camp, with David Weckl, Tommy Aldrige, John Robinson, Leon Chancler, Terri-Lyne Carrington, Steve Jordan, Alex Acuna, Gerry Brown to teach and share with young drummers.
