Knob It!
Four Acts, 1 Night, a Million Sparkles
No, it’s not stars or fireworks. It’s the electrons coursing through your veins in waves, drops and trickles, exploring the mesmerizing landscapes of your mind, triggering infinite synapses that pulsates pure warmth, beauty and elation deep into the most intimate planes of your soul.
Tomorrow’s deadlines are still ahead, impending issues would come in time. But here, this moment, as the musical sound waves engulf you, igniting the warmth and electro-connections that binds us all, we would all be sated to say, Knob It!
Electrolab presents Knob It!
Four Electro-acoustic acts from your friendly neighbours, one Night, a tri-zillion of emotional electrons.
It’s time to feel again.
Line-up:
1. DIAN BANG
An emerging band from the Malaysian Chinese indie music scene, Dian Bang consists of a girl and two guys who did their music practice in their bedroom and utilize laptops, geared up guitars and keyboards to create music at their live shows. They’re sound revolves around a lot of Electro-shoegazing and experimental pop, inspired mostly by acts like Slowdive, Kraftwerk and Kitaro.
They released a self-titled EP album last year which features collaborative works used in a number of local independent movies as well as a track featured in the “We Are All Cotton-Hearted” compilation album.

3. SILENT KEAT
Silent Prayer is the solo project of Keat, the former guitarist of rap metal band Silent Prayer. This young artist manages to keep things simple, nothing is overdone, and the simplicity is one of the elements that make his music so brilliant.

4. DJ RAINF
Richly textural, varies from fractal process music to neo romantic electronica, harmonically complex yet typically awash in consonance. This is the description of sound created by Rainf, an intelligent electronica artist with a twist of indie.
