Got from davis ---- 1900 for the head ....
CAB – 900


Actually was looking for AMP for a long time ,
And wanted to wait for the VHT amp to arrival at Davis.
So last sat was walking around “window” shop for an amp

And there was One fellow was playing the Vintage modern 50 watt combo at Davis…
Erm it sound sweet…….
So when back home and shit and later collect my Ibanez (with Bill Lawrence XL500 at the bridge)
and rush down back to davis again….
As usual the sat crowd ….( had to wait )
Try the Vintage modern – sound impressive …..
Pro – Smooth, rich, and full distortion ……….KT88 TUBE ----
Con – one channel

So try the JVM - the sale guy had to carry from the store ---
Plug in my guitar ---- ERM ---
4 Channel ----- Reverb for each channel ---
Ch1 – clean , clean and clean (Green)
Ch2 – dirty , crunch ….(Orange)
OD1 – FAV channel ---- Able to ROCK --- ROCK ROCK (Red)
OD2 – too muff --- to be for metal ( Wish it would be more modern metal sound) (RED – with scoop mid setting)

Some people say it don’t sound any thing close to the JTM or JCM800…or any older vintage marshall
But hey – it a different beast all together…
If you want a vintage sound – go get a real vintage AMP…..

The vintage modern 50Watt combo is at 1800
good spec --- got limited edition speaker as used in Jimi hendrix amp

Good amp if you need only one channel - can boost the channel to get smooth distortion....
GnR type of distortion .....

Hi Sub ,

Did you try using the FX volume to control the over all volume?
Enable the FX and crank the master and channel vol - can FX volume to reduce the vol - like a power attenuator?
