Ideal for students who are already comfortable improvising pop songs and some knowledge of chords and scales. Not advisable for beginners. Lessons will cover a three-fold formula of learning the history of jazz, music theory and jazz standards from the RealBook. Some of the topics include; chord progression, voicings, rhythm and phrasing.

A Summa Cum Laude (First-Class Honours) graduate from Berklee College of Music, Norman is a highly sought after jazz educator, having conducted masterclasses, workshops and compositional classes for various tertiary institutions. Norman currently coaches the Nanyang Technological University Jazz & Blues Band and is an Academic Associate at the School of Technology for the Arts, Republic Polytechnic.
