jazz/full shred vs d-activator x set

hi wonder if anyone out there has tried the d-activators or the activator x sets before.. wonder how they'll compare with the jazz/full shred set. anyone tried b4?

personally i'm using the jazz/full shred and it's pretty versatile for blues to hard rock. not so much heavy metal but it should do for the lighter side of metal. oh yea one more thing...i use basswood body so i'm not sure if the activators will be too bright for it

u play metal?
i dont know about how d activator x will sound on basswood... but if u found its too bright/too treble, u can change the pots to 250 K for warmer tone or change the caps value to .047 -.060
its using ceramic magnet... no wonder the treble will bite

some metal, some rock. but the webby stated the neck (activators) output rather similar to an almost medium output humbucker while the bridge is over the top hot. not sure how it'll sound on rhythm work though
