Check out these native japanese guys from, erm, Japan. A pop punk band that sings convincing english! and they're successfully breaking into the american market.
love their choruses. listen to Firecracker and Red Hot. very blink-182ish

There's another Jap Punk band which sings english...sounds better than Ellegarden, IMO. They're called Hi-Standard.
