i think you shld try merchats, the studio is quite big compare to other studio & the location of the studio is quite good (transportation wise & located at central area), 5min walk from bugis mrt station.... You should giv it a shot.....

you can try guitar 77's studio too. my band was in there today, not bad, got a yamaha dg amp, marshall jcm 800/900...forgot which one...and their equipments not bad too. yamaha stage custom drums, schecter omen-4 bass.. and best of all, free usage of the 3 Visual Sound pedals.
