JRock Matusri (Part of matsuri@sg projectz 2007)
JRock Matsuri is a series of JRock (Japanese Rock music) related workshops and events. It is also part of matsuri@SG projectz 2007.
Serve as an selection round for individuals and bands to perform/ complete for the final round at the end of the year, whereas the winner(s) will be promote and groom further as recording artiste/ band.
Date : 1st July 2007 (Sunday)
Time : noon to 8 pm
Venue: Cineleisure Orchard
Selection round of:
• Jrock Band Competition (semi- Sept, Final-Dec)
- Prizes incl. Band clinic & jamming package, Band Styling &
Photography session, Ticket(s) to japan & visit to Tokyo Music
School & much more.
• Best JRock Cosplayers
• Best Dresser Award (Gothic/ Lolita/ Punk)
Conjunction with Launch of REI, local JRock band singles album
JUDGING CRITERIA & PRIZE DETAILS WILL ONLY BE RELEASED TO PARTICPATING BANDS DURING BREFING SESSION IN END MAY/ EARLY JUNE
Important note:
Each participating group is required to perform 3 songs either in covers or original, of which at least 2 songs to be in Japanese and the 3rd can have the option of Jap or English.
