oh yeah... after saving up desperately for many many months, and resisting the masterful temptations of that wretched G.A.S., i have FINALLY managed to put together my rig, which will probably last me as long as i need.... haha
ok, sorry i couldn't help but rush onto SOFT to tell everyone the moment i finished the final touches on my rig...
so here it is now...
LTD Viper-50/Squier Jagmaster -> Tuner -> MXR ten band EQ -> Boss SD-1 ->Behringer V-amp 2 w/ foot controller-> Boss DD-6 -> Ibanez ToneBlaster 25 R.
it is a sweet rig... my v-amp can be pre-prgrammed with up to 5 different channels. i programmed my v-amp to have clean, crunch, recto, fuzz rhythms tones as well as a high-gain auto wah channel. the EQ pedal is set for a mid and treble boost, so that whenever i need a lead tone from any of the rhythm channels, all i have to do is step on it. then there's the SD-1, which is on most of the time, except on the clean channel... i use compression and reverb on the V-amp as well... and for delay, i have my DD-6 to give me all i ever need in delay. yay! =)
now, all that is left (that darned G.A.S.) is for me to complete the set-up with a nice wah pedal (probably a Vox...), volume pedal (maybe ernie ball or morley) and a tremolo pedal. whee!
pictures will be up real soon!
any comments would be greatly appreciated!
