I just sessionesd with some Cuban / Latin kakis muso kakis of mine in a last minute gig at Cuba Libre last sat night playing BASS..

3 sets of pure Slasa, Bosa, etc... playing BASS

I am a guitarist but I LOVED PLAYING BASS...

Loved playing that 24 barre bass solo ....

It's a great feeling going over to the "other side" once in a while....

acoustic guitars make you sway, classical guitars give a smooth touch,

electric guitars make u wanna stand up and do an air guitar solo,

while the bass is just THE balls.

like how Gene Simmons rocks out in I WAS MADE FOR LOVING YOU, even tho Ace had that shocking guitar solo going on.

haha glad you enjoyed the bass playing, somehow when you're the bassist you "lead" the band (u can layout the chords AND rhythm, yet give everyone enough space to do their own thing!)
