You're better off getting Schaller or Dunlop strap locks that are a lot more reliable. They look something like this.

If you don't want to spend 20+ bucks on a proper straplock like a Dunlop or Ernie Ball, you can save the trouble of shipping and whatnot by doing this:

^ saw the link... quite interesting. But I believe if you can spend $$$ on guitar + strings + what-not. 20 bucks for straplocks isn't really a big deal. Especially when compared to what you would spend/lose if you dropped you instrument.

Totally agree, thats why I use Ernie Ball strap locks. :mrgreen:

Anyway, if you don't want to install straplocks, simply change the strap buttons to bigger ones that don't slip out of the strap hole.
