they are very reliable. If you are still worried, mail them and ask whether if you could make a trip to their place and purchase instead, im pretty sure they could do it for you.

bought a dimarzio pickup frm them ... transfered money via ATM. package arrived in about 1-2 days. very prompt and awesome service from james bay.

if you wanna get obsurce pickups colours or models online, try banjomikez fro ebay. he sells every possible colour combi and models from SD/dimarzio imaginable at regular production prices. another reliable seller too. check it out!

hey man, personally i won't count on the SL sale... when it happens the stock is just low...

just get it from gain10 (ok, do i get comission? LOL)

and it is very obvious that some of the stuff they are selling suring the SL sale are used, e.g. guitars etc... well, you may say that it's been a showcase piece, but it's really in bad shape lor... you probably can get better condition stuff for the same price from sellers in luther classifieds and 2nd hand shop.

having said all this, some things are worth it.

if you noticed the last sale at swee lee, most of their high end stuff on 1/2 price are quite terok in condition. Saw a Fender and some other guitars that was really trashed and I thought to myself - Did Swee Lee sell 2nd hand or vintage pieces? ... hmm...

don't bother to wait. just buy.
