Is it possible to cut a slot for the tremolo spring system?

My current guitar does not have it, but I have to use it in my songs. Is it possible to cut a slot for the tremolo's springs and if it is possible, how much would it cost? I'm also looking for black tremolo bridges to fit my guitar.

lets just say it would be cheaper to get a guitar with a tremelo bar in it

Yep. Might wanna consider an Ibanez SAT Pro bridge, available on the SA260FM. Or else, get a normal trem guitar, like a Timbre.

what guitar is it , and if you really like your current guitar , you wont kill it haha , cutting holes , especially that size would possibly alter the sound
