Iron Maiden have more than earned their status as one of the foremost contemporary and influential Rock bands in the World as they debut at #1 in the UK (their fourth No 1 album here, the first being 1982's seminal 'The Number of the Beast' album) and TWENTY other countries to date with The Final Frontier.

In addition to the phenomenal number of No.1 debuts in all parts of the world, Maiden are currently No.2 in Australia, Belgium and Holland, No.3 in Ireland Poland and Turkey, No.4 in USA and No.5 in Singapore. The debut at No.4 on the Billboard chart in the USA is the band's highest-ever chart position.

All chart positions confirmed to date are as follows -

No. 1 -- Arabia, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Finland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK
No. 2 -- Australia, Belgium, Holland
No. 3 -- Ireland, Poland, Turkey
No. 4 -- USA
No. 5 -- Singapore

hahaha. btw hmv only stocks the mission edition right? i want to buy the standard edition also :(

Gonna buy it also i guess. Was at gramaphone capitol building just now with the intend to buy but they dont have it. I thought gramaphone always take in such bands..

im actually waiting for the standard edition to be released, i already got the mission edition but kinda sad that the booklet doesnt have the maiden logo.

a maiden album is not a maiden album unless it has the logo on it!

wel its about lovelovelovelovelovelovelove time they got to that chart level in singapore!!didnt realize they finally made it cuz its like the culture ppl in penisula are kinda thinnning out..its like their no.5 spot is something that should be celbrated with more fanfare i think..and its been years really..but if maiden could come to singapore...HOLY lovelovelovelove CMON PPL!!LETS PETITION!

I just bought Final Frontier yesterday and I was quite disappointed, really. No track really stands out... And their lyrics seems to have changed much from their usual war/medieval-related subjects.

But I still love them - still my fave band.

Maiden Fans!

Not much Iron Maiden fans on SOFT?

I am sure that there are quite a number! You've got one here!

I'd be damn if Maiden is coming to Singapore! The crowd better be worth their time though...SG crowd can be a bit lukewarm at times.

P.s. Do you all know that Nico McBain is a West Ham United fan? I am a WHUFC fan because of that! Up with the IRONS!

The Slash One was crazy, Deep Purple one got sold out tix, so it depends whose playing... if you ask linkin park play everybody sure jump jump, if you ask chopin play everybody half bored already.
