Ive heard some weather report, jaco pastorious, joe zawinul, pat methany, john scofield, frank zappa, victor wooten

any other bands/ musicians to share guys? Im not really fussy about any subgenres but it would be useful if you stated them with the musician you like lol

for one i feel walliman on youtube is a great jazz player , love his canon in D jazz version

Listen to some of Herbie Hancock and Freddie Hubbard, it's a good intro to jazz i feel, although i'm no jazz aficionado.

Acid Jazz would be Jamiroquai:D

For Fusion Jazz, check out: Guthrie Govan, Ritchie Kotzen, Greg Howe, Casiopea, T-Square, Dimension

Check out Wes Montgomery, Lee Ritenour, Eric Johnson, Dave Brubeck(pianist), Antonio Jobim, George Benson, Mike Stern.

Moses Meyes; best part, they are Canadian.

If you're up for something new, loud and jumpy, listen to Soil & 'Pimp' Sessions.

They came in 2009 and every was jumping to jazz.

Jamiroquai was awesome in the 90s, some part of that essence is lost in their latest album.
