hello everyone, new to soft here. what can i say .... am really glad to discover a forum for local music! great stuff!
well, i used to listen to english music in the 90s, but have switched to mandarin music in recent years. these days, i'm mostly into taiwanese indie music (rock and subgenres, and sometimes punk and pop). favourite bands include tizzy bac (piano rock) and fire-ex (punk).
am pretty sure there are some great local mandarin rock bands .... hope to discover some of them here and perhaps attend their gigs someday!
hope to get to know forumers who appreciate mandarin rock/indie music too ... as for some reason or other, it's darn hard to find people who listen to mando-rock (besides mayday) in offline life.
