So far haven’t post an intro about myself.
Hm…
Ok.
I started learning piano when I was 8 years old.
However, I have stop learning it a year later.
Reason? Maybe due to the boring piano basic.
But, my music life doesn’t stop there.
I have pickup Electone at Yamaha when I was 11 years old.
Started with grade 13, reached Grade 5 after 8 years of learning.
However, after failed 6 times of Grade 5 exam in 3 years.
So, no choice, giving up…
Anyway, music stills my first love.
I started composing music since 13.
Composed some songs during my sec school life.
Then intermittently stop it due to study and other commitment.
2~3 years ago,
I started composing music again.
FINALE (ver 2000/2004/2005) is my main notation software used.
Normally will email the song composed for friends to listen & comment.
Sometime,
when some of my good friends get married,
I will specially compose a piece or so, arrange it and then burn into CD,
Design & print a nice album art/cover to accompany it.
Then give as a wedding gift.
Basically,
I listen to all kind of music (Soundtrack/pop/new age/orchestra/piano/remix/dance/Rock/Jazz/Classical…etc).
I spent a lot of money in buying CDs (especially those made in Japan… very expensive…almost used up my salary every month).
Collected more than 400 CDs.
I influenced a lot by Japanese music (J-pop, game music …etc).
Main influences are from Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy series), Joe Hisaishi (Ghibli series), Takashi Kako and Akira Senju.
Currently I am working as an engineer in a manufacturing company.
I am also a part-time student in NTU pursuing my Master Degree.
