What are you thinking? This is not SOFT porn, just my first post. 8O

This is probably to get moving here. Basically I have been out of touch with music close to 4 years. Quitted all forms of music productions due to some personal reasons back then. Some DJ friends are still urging me to come back to it.

Music is as important as oxygen. I think I started listening to church organ at age 5, being the only Christian in my own family. Sch came, and I was in the school band. Back then it was clarinet, oboe and percussions. No formal training however, every route towards music was blocked by furious objections from this pathetic traditional family of mine.

Nonetheless, if it's in your blood, it's in you. You just can't help it. After all these years, going around concrete bushes one after another, it's back to square 1 - music. Only setback is the loss of skills and the feel of it. I need these back real quick.

Realistically, I am producing more of House music (tech, tribal, deep) and Electronica. I may explore along the likes of Jazzy House (Jazz + House beats) ... something similar to Dimitri from Paris concepts. I'm very much working on raw project bones which some, were done years back and none were ever developed further than being a piece of scrap.

Current programs that I am using: FruityLoops Producer Studio 5 & Storm Studio 2.0. Hardware: Roland X7 and I don't play it. I am depending on my ears very much and my friend put them on his X7 in realistic sounds and notation. (Yes I know I sound pretty handicap LOL!) Figuring out and playing with Sound Forge and Cubase.

I guess I wouldn't be contributing alot, because I haven't got anything much to share. Nor do I have the technical expertise to share with anyone. But I will be doing alot of reading here, catching up with concurrent technologies and probably seek out a suitable keyboard/synthesizer that I can work with.

My wishlist at the moment:-
Roland MV8000 - Production Studio (Various workstations all in a box)
Roland X7 - Yes I do like how it sounds when I hear my mate use it.
M-Audio Studio Pro3 Monitors - Yes this is good enough in a small room I have.

Cheerios,
