I'm currently in a band which plays mainly rock/grunge...

On my own, I like to dabble in every genre, just to widen my horizons and explore new ground.. which can be utilised in creating melodies/harmonies etc.

but i'm a sucker for being technical, unfortunately!

haha yeah fingerstyle rocks too! i do like celtic songs, together with the ringing of open strings amidst the continuous melody. Doyle Dykes anyone? heh. DADGAD tuning's very versatile too, i.e. Laurence Juber.
