is there any side effects of earthing amps?? how come the amp makers dont want to make it 3 pin in the first place if it doesnt have side effects??

some are unearthed due to regional specifications pertaining to electricity. it also translates to cost- manufacturer equip the amp with the fundamentals, beyond that, the user would fund his tinkerings.

The side effect is your amp would probably sound less noisy. There's a thread on changing the 2 pin head to 3 pin head in the Guitar section.

So far i haven't heard anyone complain abt changing
