Hello Soft Community,
I've been playing bass for the past 2 years, mostly woodshedding on my own actually.
So naturally, my musical tastes gravitated to songs that had distinct bass lines, because driving bass lines really do bore the heck out of you if you're playing on your own.
I've been playing primarily funk since then, and currently am learning how to play jazz styles.
Some influences are Pleasure, The Commodores, Chic, and to some extent, Les Claypool (Primus).
I also play 80's pop (think Billie Jean, Material Girl),
Looking for band mates to jam with, and in the future, to do gigs with.
