Ibanez Xiphos

Hello board!

I love the new Xiphos design. It nice.

I like Malmsteen Strat also.

Price wise, in SGD, how much and where do you guys think I can find the Xiphos in Singapore.

I called Swee Lee and the woman didn't really know about it and that she'd get back to me. Aiyah still havent yet.

theres some speculation over at jemsite that ibanez is pulling out the model becoz they have been threatened with legal action. but again its only speculation and nothing is confirmed.heres the link

agree- there was no buzz when the Jackson version was available @ swee lee... so it's down to the brand name, yes?

which version of the jackson was there? the bolt on or neck thru version?

i think its this popular cuz ibanez offers it as a neck thru. for jackson, there are so many different versions that getting one is sometimes confusing.

well maybe the ibanez is much more easier to play perhaps? thats why more ppl want it? the jackson doesnt have an aanj style neck so upper fret access can by hard to reach while the ibanez is neck-thru and aanj? well probably i guess more people are familiar with ibanez thats why theres so much hype about it then jackson, not sayin jackson are bad guitars but the range in singapore is pretty limited. you dont get to see as many nice jacksons then ibanez in sg.

Ibanez stil hasnt got back to me about the xiphos yet.

Anyway once i get my lazy arse down to sweelee and pester them about the xiphos and actually DO get an order through, I will post ah.
