Any1 had try it before, heard few gd review from the web of the on board distortion.....Any comment guy

I cant exactly comment on the tbx head, but i can comment about the tbx30r.

Clean and driven voicing, whether normal or x mode, is pretty good. Very versatile amp and takes pedals well.

But driven is somewhat too mild for some of my application, so when that happens, I use a landmine in conjunction. Otherwise, thumbs up. =)

i've tried the above head, like its other TBX siblings, it's an improved version of the Tone Blaster offerings in terms of drive voicings (all TBX models have a more impressive drive, my thumbs up to them) & EQ. on the clean front, all TBX models offer a utilitarian default tone; useful but could have been better. do not expect a Fenderesque parallel from any TBX...

the head version IMO is simply a repackaged combo, less the cab. it has no added circuitry to make it much better off than its combo siblings, in fact, there's some storage space at the amp's rear to store cables... however, due to its increased wattage, it drives more intensively than its lower power mates, this might be the lure for players who crank their volume up 8)

a recommended amp but as it is, people would deem tube equipped = better...

might not be suitable for softer kind of music... dunno, cos i hear dthe demo in the website, the cleans and lower gain sounds not so ok to my ears. THe high gain rocks though.

lucky im not much of a tube guy (hope i don get flame abt this), i more to a SS guy......guitarist should noe, choosing an amp is like choosing a soulmate..... :P

anw , wats the price for this baby?
