Any1 know anything abt this guitar? I picked it up at Swee Lee sale and besides the fact that the electronics and hardware are same as RGT42DX, i dunno anything else abt it. Can any1 shed some light on this? Thx.

not too sure, could be a limited edition or a prototype
lyk last year, mi fren werkin at swee lee showed mi a prototype ax7221 that was sent to sweelee, so i assume that they do get some of these rare guitars

Hmmm......i googled it and apparently its a very limited edition guitar, a rare collector's item that was produced in 2003. The CR stands for the cross fret inlay at the 12th fret and the 2 for 2 humbuckers. Apparently only 1000 of these guitars were produced and distributed worldwide, each nation getting a set number. Singapore got only 2, so i guess i'm lucky to have got this. Enjoying it now, pics will be uploaded soon in the Swee Lee sale thread.

I paid $625 after 50% disc. I think its similar to the RGTHRG1. Limited edition collector's item, only 1000 pieces produced, most based on the RGT42DX. But i'd prefer the RGTHRG1's design, only too bad my dad found it only in Seoul.
