Ibanez RG series Volume and Tone pots

Hi softies!
I have spare cash and itchy fingers.
So i decided to change the pots of
my Ibanez RG370dx.
But, i have no idea which one to get.
Whats the best out there? 500k or
250k? Whats the diff?

general rule of thumb, 500k for humbuckers, 250k for single coils. Higher resistance means brighter tone if I'm not wrong. Just use Alpha or CTS pots. You still want me to rewire for you?

then 500k will do. there's also dimarzio pots and a whole bunch of other diff ones.

if you are swapping pots for the sake of spending that extra funds of yours- it's impractical. if i were you, getting a new set to replace the current working ones means i should get something 'special' to make the change worthy. you might want to consider this one:

btw do note that CTS or most USA pots have slightly bigger shafts hence you might have to enlarge the hole on your pickguard.

Gotoh would be good for Ibanez guitars. 500K.
