Ibanez MIKRO pickups and bridge>>>>> HELP!

Hi all....

Okay i have an Ibanez Mikro and want to change the pickups into EMG active pickups.
But, there is no cavity at the back to put iin the battery. So, i checked the internet and they said to put it under the pickguard.

IS THIS TRUE?

okay the bridge now is currently fixed Ibanez bridge, so there no hole or cavity at the back. I thought i wanted to cahnged the bridge into a floyd rose bridge.

Must i go to a guitar shop and ask them to cut a cavity at the back?

if you really want a floyd rose so much, i'd rather you sell off ur mikro and get a decent guitar with a floyd rose alr installed. its cheaper that way...

Guitars that have fixed bridge and you send for routing/route yourself often have a lot of problems i.e tuning stability.
