ibanez gio bass

i have a fren who is selling it for 300 bucks with an amp...
any advise whether i should buy it or not?
i can't seem to find any info on d gio

this was one of the reviews i found online http://www.bgra.net/reviews/ibanezgioibanezimpor-1-rvw.html. it says it's made in Indonesia, unlike the other Ibanez guitars and basses ( if im not mistaken ), so maybe that's why it's cheaper and stuff. just check it out and play it, if you like it then get it!

Ibanez website have the information on the GIO series .. basically GIO series are budget basses by Ibanez made in Indonesia .. that's why it's cheaper but i can guarantee you that Ibanez quality doesn't go down there.

BUT .. it's always this strange thing about indo-necks .. they warp really easily .. no joke man .. so be careful on the bass you pick out.. choose a proper one ..

I'm using it at the moment while saving for a bass. it's never failed me, solid bass, really happy for the low price
