Ibanez GAX30 or LTD EC50!

Here's the thing; i'm getting my first electric, and i dont know which to choose.
After 2 weeks of research and going down to penin and bras basah 5 times, i narrowed it down to these two guitars.
So which of these 2 should i get?
I really can't make up my mind, so yea, any opinions?
I'm buying it on sunday btw, so fast replies will be appreciated.

if ur gonna play metal, ibanez is the choice for u

I beg to differ. LTDs are also designed for metal, perhaps more so than the Ibanez GAX30 as the GAX30 is from the artist series by Ibanez, aimed more at hard rock than metal. The LTD EC series are singlecuts but designed to play metal, which is why so many metal guitarists endorse LTDs. Nergal of Behemoth plays an ESP EC series I think.

If you want something to shred on, both guitars probably won't suit you. Perhaps an Ibanez GRG121 (don't touch low-end Ibanez tremolos) vs. LTD H50 or VP50.

I own an Ibanez Gio but I've played LTD 50 series. My verdict is that LTD 50 series are better made and slightly more expensive, but Ibanez Gios sound better. Once again, in my opinion.
