hello guys...tell me how your guys thinks about ibanez GRX40 performing at the stage?

You can perform with any guitar on stage. Whats most important is that you have the 'feel' of the guitar. Be it a $200 guitar or a $20000 guitar.

how it looks (on stage or otherwise) should be the least of your concern when choosing a guitar. tell us if you are getting it first time...

hmm...so wat type of guitar u guys recommand? i feel confortable wif fender and ibanez necks...i m think of getting a strat/tele or a ibanez prestige..so i m confuse which to get...the price is bout the same..i play more on rock...sometime on blues? or maybe sometime hokkien? hahaz..juz enjoyed playing hokkien songs..=X

hmm..i don really whammy...but i hope to do whammy and dive bomb all this...but den don really use it...so is beeter to get fender?

hmm..thats cool...may i ask wats the diff between the lastest model of fender and the older version of fender? how about telecaster? and 1 more question..how come japan fender and americal fender the price diff is so much diff?

latest version vs older version- specifically which model are you enquiring on? the list is just too wide/ many...

american vs Jap prices- only dealers can highlight this better.

oic...hmm..i tot of buying RG350 too..how u think of tt guitar? share wif me some of your thoughts?

ok 1 last question...if i compare fender and ibanez...which pick ups will b more powerful? wif clean sound..no gadget used...and about 800-1k budget. which u think is more worth to get it?

if you do so, you are effectively comparing single coils vs humbuckers (assuming typical fender vs typical Ibanez here...)- single coils, generally, possess lower output but it doesn't mean that it'll be a lousy choice for distorted tones.

bottom line: try + hear + choose. the more worthy guitar is the one which you like more, regardless of the brand name.

well thx bro...nice meeting you...mayb i will go try out and compare when i return to sg....=)

If u got money to burn, i suggest the Ibanez RGT42DX. $950 from www.standardvalue.com.sg, email him. Change PUs to DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell in neck and Tonezone or X2N in bridge and u get a realy versatile machine. All for abt $1.2k, give or take. Of course, PU change is only for if ur fussy abt ur sound, if not the stock PUs will be more than adequate. But if u want really excellent clean tones, at least change the neck PU to Humbucker From Hell of PAF Pro. The stock PUs are good on drive and dist. And if u'd like to try dive bombs and all that, there's an EDGE Pro II bridge installed too. Guaranteed super crazy whammy stuff like Satriani Scream.
