I bought my studio microphone le usb de but i using adobe audition i used the reverb noise reduction still dont sound studio like.
Also my studio mic de channels like worse.as in i view the audio hardware settings from adobe audition for my audi-technica AT2020 microphone .its only 1 channel. When i listen the sound like focus more on the right side also.the left side like abit soft.

Also, my microphone too "good" that it picks up background noise also

AT2020 is considered basics.. not high end actually..
room acoustics, preamp , audio interface , mixing.

and you should be recording in mono if i'm not wrong unless at2020 is a stereo mic.

"good" <-- your gain is high + your background is noisy.

and you should be saving it as final 16bit 44.1khz

do read http://tinyurl.com/diyrecording

there is high end for usb functioned de mah?or high end is those non-usb de.?
but ya,i feel that my sound is alot better le i guess.at least sounds almost like me in real life.

The background noise is it because i compressed it or maybe because i never buy the windscreen for my this model?tthe thing that u put over ur mic to prevent dust from going in Btw. where to get windscreen for this model and also, the warranty registration, the model number is At2020 usb or some other number?

You should make sure the room your are recording in is as silent as possible. Your computer and air con are the main culprits. Compressing heavily will raise your noise floor and make the background noise louder, but it shouldn't be a problem if you first make sure the room you are recording in is as quiet as possible.

The windscreen's purpose is to tame plosives, which are words with 'P' and 'B' so your vocal recording doesn't have pops and not for preventing dust from getting into the mic.

You could make your own if you want to, here's a link - http://www.jakeludington.com/project_studio/20050321_build_your_own_microphone_pop_screen.html

I think you misunderstood, the main goal is to get a clean and quiet recording without any background noise from the start. You can start by pinpointing what is causing background noise in your room and eliminate it physically. If it's the air con or fan for example, turn it off or point the mic away from it.
