How to do a power slide

Guys u noe of a band called mi lu bing ? During their finals on super band , they played a song called yong qi , the guitarist do a power slide . I keep wondering how he does that , i personally try it at home but it sounds like screeching though not the sound of his or guitarist in deep purple.

power slide means you try to run for a bit then you land on your knees while jamming on your axe and sliding for a fair amount of distance.
