hi guys i really want to know how do you take care of your maple fretboard, what products should you use? because most products on the market are mostly for rosewood ...............

don't need to take care of maple fretboard. over time through regular playing, you will see dirty grey spots on the fretboard. major mojo.

alamak the guitar really make me have nausea ,bro my guitar also like that the whole fret board stain with grime but the thing will really affect your playing especially when you want to bend the strings i tried the normal fret cleaner but the color of the fretboard inlay stained the fretboard causing the maple fretboard to look dirty i want my fretboard to look shiny but dun know how:confused:

the lemon oil & whatever other fluid out there are meant for porous wood type, ie rosewood. maple is not this wood type, you only need to wipe it with a dry cloth after play. if there are tough stains there, use a regular polish/ cleaning fluid.

it would definitely affect feel. keep in mind lacquered neck/ fretboards give off a sticky feel when you sweat. if you have played a gibson or the likes, you'd understand :-)

a friend of mine just bought a 70s fender vintage it has a lacquered maple neck i like the feel but have not try playing it while sweating anyway where can i get the fretboard laquered
