Hoobastank concert afterthoughts

Anyone went for the hoobastank concert?

Well i thought they were alright. Doug didn't go off-key as i kept expecting him to.

Their short covers of "Another Brick in the Wall" and "Living on a prayer" were quite good too.

Crowd was smaller than it had been at MUSE, but i mean you can't compare since it is MUSE. Crowd was a lot friendlier too though. No rough pushing, no bottle-throwing and basically just having a great time.

The Opening band "The Sexies" were great! They performed well and the crowd were quite receptive to them too. Great band to promote local music. Loved all three of their originals

Oh Doug "cheated" a little hahaha(please don't flame me, its meant to be a joke). During the song "the reason", at the high parts of the chorus when he sings " AND THE REASON IS YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" and cause he cant reach the "YOUUUUUUUU" part, he points the mic at the crowd and got them to sing. Every single time. Ahahaha. Was quite cool


So anyone else went for the concert? How did you find it? How did you find the opening band The Sexies?

i actually tot they were pretty good. both bands. he did go off key a bit but it was alrite.

bottle throwing and pushing is not an anti-social act, but i guess the crowd just let their hair down for that moment.

i agree with nocturnaldekadence. if i had a bottle flung in my face i wouldn't be all "haha this is fun."
