Hipshot Tremsetter

Allparts carries this product.

Honestly, I don't really like it. Makes your trem stiff and not very stable as it claims. you'd be better off with a tremol-no.

Hi relinquish69,

ive tried the tremolo-no, while its good and works like a fixed bridge, i cant really utilize the tonal benefits of it while in the full tremolo mode

Hence i was thinking about exploring the tremsetter. Did it work like a fixed bridge when the tremolo was not being used? like when you bend strings the bridge doesnt raise up etc

what tonal benefits are you referring to?

the tremol-no can do that in fixed bridge mode. if I were to sum it up, tremsetter would be like a very high tension spring that has a lifespan and requires drilling.
